'Call Of Duty: Warzone' Players Discover Hilarious New Grenade Trick

Bounce (pogopogopogo).

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: Warzone players have discovered an incredible new technique since the massive Season 4 Reloaded update. Unfortunately, nobody is entirely sure whether or not it's an unintentional glitch, or a genuine addition to the popular shooter.

The practice, which players have dubbed "grenade dribbling", allows the intrepid soldiers to bounce their own grenades off surfaces. There are plenty of videos of players tossing their explosives against walls before catching them again, like a bored kid throwing a tennis ball against the side of the house - only much scarier.

The move only seems to work if you have the E.O.D perk equipped, so make sure you've got that sorted before you try for yourself. Otherwise you'll definitely blow yourself up. Check out Reddit user Spiffip below as they demonstrate "grenade dribbling" in action.

Unsurprisingly, this new trick has inspired many of the more skilled players out there to show off by getting extra-flashy kills. SuorinGod, for example, pulled off what they described as the "EOD alley oop". As you can see below, they managed to bounce their grenade and catch again, before throwing it for the kill.

If someone killed me that way, I don't even think I could stay mad at them.

There's not much else one can do with grenade dribbling beyond playing catch and getting the occasional cheeky kill... but does it need to be anything more than that? The vast majority of Call Of Duty glitches are ultimately used to exploit the game and win through less-than-savoury memes. I don't really see how anyone could take advantage of this harmless bit of fun. Then again, I do suck at the game.

In other Call Of Duty news, it sounds like a Black Ops/Modern Warfare crossover is on the way. Dataminers combing through the files of the most recent update found multiple references to Black Ops' protagonist Frank Woods, with many believing he's set to join the game as an Operator.

Not long after that, dataminers discovered a string of audio files that reference Black Ops' Ascension, as well as a string of numbers that seem to reference the opening of the original game. It's not entirely clear what's going on, but it seems Activision has big plans for Season 5. Let's just hope the grenade dribbling stays.
