It's fair to say that Infinity Ward has not held back with its big Call Of Duty: Warzone Halloween event. The Haunting Of Verdansk has been a huge hit so far, with great rewards, creepy new cosmetic items, and plenty of new modes that pay tribute to this, the spookiest of all seasons.

The brand new Zombie Royale mode is a definite highlight, giving players the chance to respawn into the battle royale as zombies and cause as much chaos as possible before the game ends. There's also the inclusion of Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre as an unlockable Operator Skin, which is fantastic.

While I argued last week that the leaked images of the horror icon in Warzone looked kind of crappy, seeing him action holding a Kilo 141 and sprinting towards you in the dark is terrifying... although not quite as terrifying as finding where he lives.

The official Call Of Duty: Warzone website teased when Leatherface was announced that unlucky players might just run into him in the Farmlands of Verdnsk. Following up on this hint, The Legendary Borac decided to head there and see if he could trigger some kind of encounter. While he didn't meet Leatherface himself, the YouTuber entered a house to the east of the main barn and discovered some pretty disturbing things.

As you can see in the video below (or via this link), the house was littered with references to Leatherface. Chopped up body parts littered tables and counters, and there was a fridge in the kitchen covered in blood splatters. Most disturbing of all, however, was the fact that entering the house seemed to trigger the sound of a chainsaw from upstairs.

The Legendary Borac, clearly much braver than I am, headed upstairs to investigate. To their surprise, an ethereal blue ghost stood by the window. Although they disappeared almost as soon as they were spotted, the chainsaw continued to echo throughout the house.

Creepy, right? Players have been stumbling across all kinds of weird crap in Warzone since the Halloween update, including a ghost train and other unexplained figures dotted around the map. There are also rumours that a Leatherface NPC is actually scouring the farmlands ready to kill anyone who gets too close, but there's absolutely no proof of that right now.

That's obviously not going to stop fans from trying to hunt him down, of course. This is basically GTA: San Andreas all over again, isn't it? I'm kind of okay with that.
