'Call Of Duty: Warzone' Players Finally Find A Way Into The Stadium

Verdansk Stadium has been one of the strangest buildings in Call Of Duty: Warzone since launch. A massive, prominent structure on the map, newcomers are instinctively drawn to it for its unique architecture and potential strategic advantages. But as anyone who's played the battle royale for more than five minutes knows, the Stadium is actually a bit naff.

Despite being one of the largest buildings in the game, all you can really do is walk around it, which takes ages and leaves you exposed. You can also camp out on the roof until the gas comes, but the domed top is so open and large that there's virtually no cover to hide behind if you're spotted.

The good news is that a few industrious Warzone players have now found a way to get inside the Stadium. The bad news is that it's not the most practical or exciting solution to the building's relative uselessness. Also, relying on this trick to get kills and win the game would be a pretty dirt thing to do, as you're essentially relying on exploiting a glitch. Not cool.

Still, if you want to try it out for yourself just to see what the Stadium looks like inside, then all you need to do is follow the instructions set out by YouTuber Frenzys. Alternatively, you could just as easily watch the video below without ever having to lift a finger.

The Stadium still doesn't have a real interior, so it's just this vast... void. Unless that's what actually stadiums look like on the inside in Verdansk, anyway. Frenzys also explains that once you're in, you're invisible to anyone outside the building, which makes sense. As such, the YouTuber stresses, as I did, that you really should only use this trick to explore and mess around.

Of course I'm sure we all know that a few less-than-savoury players will start exploiting this trick to win games. After which Infinity Ward will realise what's going on and patch it out, blocking off the Stadium for everyone once again.

A report from earlier this month suggested that Infinity Ward would (officially) open up the Stadium at some point during Season 4. Dataminers claim to have found evidence of an interior for the building in the game's files, although this recent glitch would suggest that said interior has yet to be incorporated into the battle royale.

Hopefully the developer does something with it soon, because Verdansk Stadium is too cool looking to be this useless for much longer.
