A squad in Call Of Duty: Warzone just won a match. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn't really require my writing an article. People win games of the battle royale all day, every day. But these aren't normal circumstances, because this squad won their game using nothing but Kali Sticks and Riot Shields.

YouTuber Vikkstar123'(thanks, Gamespot) uploaded his team absolutely destroying the competition using the new melee weapon introduced in Season 4. Riot shields, flashbang grenades, and a firm belief that the impossible was possible also played important roles in the win.

You can see the entire thing for yourself below. It's a wild ride, I have to say. The final moments of the match are among the most intense I've ever seen in Warzone, but props to the squad for staying calm and collected in the face of chaos.

As someone who thought Kali Sticks and Riot Shields weren't all that impressive, I feel like kind of an idiot right now. Obviously it takes an incredible level skill of teamwork to make a strategy like that work, but by heck did they pull it off. I can't believe they managed to get seven kills between them, given that they were constantly charging towards fully armed enemies.

But that's where the shields came into play, and it was seriously impressive watching the team get into formation, soak up the bullets with the shields, and ultimately go in for the kill with their sticks of death. While they only got seven kills between them during the game, the real headline is that they won.

Also, how fuming would you be if you were that guy at the very end of the game who lost the match because you were charged at by someone wielding a pair of sticks? What a way to lose.

I've no doubt we'll start to see a lot more of the Kali Sticks in action over the next few months. Just remember that Infinity Ward has stated a weapon balancing patch is coming halfway through Season 4, so the studio might just decide to make the melee weapon a little less deadly. Hopefully not though, because I'd absolutely love to see more strategies like this in Warzone.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go and completely rethink my loadout, strategy, and everything else regarding my approach to Warzone. I have so much to learn.
