'Call Of Duty: Warzone' Streamers Demand "Bullsh*t" AUG TTK Be Nerfed

Call Of Duty wouldn't be Call Of Duty if there wasn't at least one weapon fans were desperate to see nerfed. Sure enough, after a relatively quiet period on that front, players are now crying out for Activision to take the AUG tactical rifle and FFAR assault rifle meta down a peg or two by nerfing the gun's time-to-kill, or TTK.

Earlier this month, popular Call Of Duty streamer Nick 'NICKMERCS' Kolcheff went into great detail explaining to players one particular AUG loadout that he believed to be severely "broken". With the right setup, the tactical rifle can obliterate players from a variety of ranges with just two burst, while the FFAR can devastate players at close range. This hasn't gone unnoticed.

Popular Warzone streamer and competitive player Jordan 'HusKerrs' Thomas has now made his thoughts on the matter clear, reaching out to developer Raven Software directly via Twitter.

"This AUG/FFAR meta needs to go ASAP," he wrote. "It's not as bad as the pre-nerf DMR, but holy f*ck the TTK is so god damn low that it's not even fun. Please @RavenSoftware give us variety and not this burst weapon bullshit."

Other fans and streamers were quick to agree, and joined Thomas in requesting Raven Software make changes sooner rather than later. "It's just so f*ckin boring that if you're not using AUG FFAR you lose by default vs any decent player," added fellow streamer kevin. Twitch icon TimTheTatMan has also weighed in, going so far as to claim that the AUG meta is currently worse than the deeply divisive pre-nerf DMR meta ever was. Bold claim.

Neither Activision nor Raven Software have yet to address these complaints, but it'll only be a matter of time before these controversial weapons are nerfed. For now we'll have to sit tight and wait for the nerf to come as we speculate about which weapons could fill the breach and break the battle royale next.
