Toss a coin to your choir.

Thanks to the recently released Netflix series, everything to do with The Witcher is undeniably bigger now than it's ever been. The Henry Cavill-fronted fantasy show has propelled the original Andrzej Sapkowski novels and CD Projekt RED games to new heights. Just last week, for example, there were more people playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Steam then there have been since the game launched in 2015.

The world is well and truly in the grip of Witcher fever, then. You love to see it, you really do. As a result of this global love-fest, passion for Geralt's adventures is starting to seep out from all manner of unexpected places. One truly rousing example of this comes from a Russian choir, who recently performed a truly stirring version of... the song. You know the one. Toss A Coin To Your Witcher'. That damn song has gotten everywhere since appearing in the second episode of the Netflix show.

Check it out for yourself below (thanks PCGamesN), but do be ready to have it stuck in your head for another week or so afterwards. I tell you, if a country entered Eurovision with this damn song, they'd walk away with the win. No question.

A massive well done to Omsk Philharmonic for such an incredible performance of what I think is already one of the biggest songs of 2020. The backing vocals only serve to augment a powerful lead vocal that's belting out Jaskier's ballad with the oomph it deserves. One thing is for sure: if you plan on performing 'Toss A Coin To Your Witcher', there's no way you'll be doing it quietly.

Fittingly, 'Toss A Coin To Your Witcher' is popping up all over the place at the moment like some kind of killer virus. A killer virus called GROOVE. In addition to the Omsk Philharmonic's rousing rendition, modders have already worked the tune into rhythm game Beat Saber and CD Projekt's The Witcher.

While critics have been split on whether or not Netflix's The Witcher is actually any good (we liked it), at least we can all agree on one thing: Jaskier knows how to write an absolute belter of a tune. Truly, he is the best hype man Geralt could ever hope to have.
