It very much looks like CD Projekt Red is looking to add more Panam romance into the DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 following the huge 1.2 patch that went live recently. As the developers fix and improve many aspects of the game after a messy launch, some other content has been slipped into the sci-fi RPG to perhaps prepare for later DLC with renewed romantic options.

These new dialogue and romance options were found by Reddit user, Stndn who posted to the AldecaldosForever subreddit. This is a "community dedicated to the admiration and discussion of Panama Palmer and the Aldecaldos in a more tasteful manner" according to the subreddit's description. Falling in love with Panam is a common phase of many Cyberpunk 2077 players' lives, and leaving the virtual relationship behind is hard, so that might be why teases of further upcoming romantic situations with Panam are so tantalising.

The 1.2 game files seem to contain a lot of new text according to the post. Situations and conversations that weren't previously in the files have been added with other improvements. The first example of the new text shows a conversation between Panam and V about Jackie. You remember Jackie right? Your partner in crime at the very beginning of the game who, sadly, doesn't last long enough to meet Panam.

It's quite a heartfelt conversation if you want to read it but be warned it does have spoilers for the game, of course. It seems very possible that this will be an extension to the story for post plot missions when DLC content arrives.

This content isn't the first we've heard of DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 of course, other players who perused the 1.2 patch for information found a bunch of names of potential expansions coming in the future. And though CD Projekt Red has had to rethink its approach to multiplayer, the team is committed to continuing work on the franchise along with a new Witcher title eventually.
