If ever there was a story in which the headline told you everything you need to know, it's definitely this one. Still, I have a duty to ensure my articles are as full and informative as possible, so sit right there while I tell you all about the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 features an unlockable chrome penis called Mr Studd. Afterwards I'll go stare at my journalism degree and have a good cry.
According to a recent report by TheGamer, Cyberpunk 2077 has various genital augmentations that can be purchased by players as they explore Night City. To be clear, these are entirely separate from the genital customisation options you get when you start the game and create a character.
Among these cybernetic aids you'll find a "fashionable vagina" enhancement called Mrs Midnight, and the aforementioned chrome wang, Mr Studd. According to the Cyberpunk 2077 Wiki, both of these attachments are commonly used by the in-game sex workers, allowing them to "function" for as long as they need to during sex. It also looks like having either one equipped can make the player more desirable to those they're attempting to seduce.
The same report also discussed some of the other technology that sex workers can use in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, and it sounds wild.CD Projekt RED explained that one feature, "Doll Houses", involves hacking into a customer's brain to ascertain their deepest fantasies before helping them live them out in style. Once finished, the sex worker can erase their memory of the event to spare the client's blushes.
"Doll houses are this concept that is quite interesting, in terms of the Cyberpunk world," quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz said. "Imagine you have people who have specific cyberware that allows them to attune to the client. And after the job is done, it allows them to forget what they were doing during the session.
"Imagine that the sex worker - the doll - attuned to you, and they can realise your fantasies, deeply hidden desires, and things that are pushed into your subconscious - maybe you don't even think about them too much. Some of them are also part of the Moxes, and they are gathering different kinds of sex workers throughout the city."
It definitely sounds to me like Cyberpunk 2077 has more than earned its mature rating. Definitely not a game you'll want to play when nan comes to visit... unless you're particularly into the idea of showing your nan all the genital augmentations you've earned, I guess.
