You're all breathtaking.

Cyberpunk 2077 will finally be in our hands next year. I have to say, I'm terribly excited to see what CD Projekt RED has been working on and dive into the sprawling, neon metropolis that is Night City. April is still a little way off though, so to whet my appetite I might just take a tour of this gorgeous Cyberpunk-inspired city in Minecraft.

The Cyberpunk Project (via PC Gamer) is another in a long, long line of truly breathtaking Minecraft builds that makes me question my ability as both a gamer and a human being. The patience and dedication that must have gone into piecing together this sprawling behemoth boggles the mind. Check out a sweet time-lapse of the city's construction - and tour of the finished product - below.

As maker(s) Elysium Fire explains, this metropolis isn't supposed to be a direct recreation of Cyberpunk 2077's Night City. We still don't really have much of an idea of how big that city is or what the whole thing looks like, so that would be impossible. Instead, the collaborative project made use of what we have seen in the trailers so far to build something entirely unique, but still inspired by CD Projekt RED's efforts.

"It is 2077, and humanity is causing the world to suffer an unprecedented peak of pollution," reads the video's description. "It must face a new environment destroyed by an insatiable appetite for over-consumption. To survive, our kind had to make major ecological decisions, which it could never have foreseen in the past, but which have now become a reality."

"Discover this city that was built on the forgotten remains of the 21st century, with its megastructures splitting the skies, built chaotically one on top of the other."

The city includes an industrial zone, a purification facility for its waste, and even wind farms that provide an unlimited source of energy. There's also a bustling port, and dozens of gleaming neon skyscrapers adorned with various billboards and holograms. The best Minecraft builds, in my opinion, are the ones that manage to make the block-building survival game look like something completely different. This project absolutely achieves that.

It really is an incredible piece of work, and everyone involved should be super proud of what they've built. It puts my mud and granite house to shame, that's for sure.

If you're wondering when you'll be able to download the map for yourself and explore every nook and cranny of this mega-city, I've got some good news. Elysium Fire is currently planning to release the map for everyone to download on Christmas day. That's one hell of a present.
