Even though Cyberpunk 2077 is a technologically advanced world, where science rules and evolution drools, the citizens haven't worked out how to exactly beat death. Well, that's if you're not Johnny Silverhand who has managed to stick around long after he's gone - and now the actor behind Jackie Welles wants the same for his character.

Although this plot point is revealed in several trailers of the game, small spoiler warning for the fact that Jackie dies early on in Cyberpunk 2077. While finishing up a heist Jackie is fatally wounded, but makes it into a taxi with V before V notices their friend is dying. Even though we know it's coming, it's still a devastating loss, as Jackie feels a lot like V's grounding in Night City. Which is why we'd all love to hear more from him and voice actor Jason Hightower.

When speaking to ExBee, Hightower expressed an interest in coming back for a future DLC on the game, speaking into V's ear, just as Silverhand does in the main game. After joking about how Hightower dies a lot in the games he's cast in, one of the hosts exclaims that Jackie's role should be extended.

At that point, Hightower says, "Listen, I don't want to be the one to say it. We could [make a] DLC upload of Jackie if you wanted. This is not everyone but, you know, for those who might want a little bit of Jackie in their ear while they're doing missions, there you go". Of course, Hightower can't be the one to confirm something like this, it's down to CD Projekt Red to decide what to do in future DLCs, but host Callum's idea of a radio show would be a great option too.

"You should come back as a radio host, so when we're driving through Night City you could run a radio station," says Callum, which honestly sounds like a fun way to re-include Welles and improve the radio stations in-game. You can listen to the whole podcast here.
