This Cyberpunk 2077 speedrunner set a record for the fastest time to sleep with an NPC in Night City, and in a game as buggy as this one, they've brought a new meaning to "bumping uglies."
Tomatoanus, the player in question, achieved the feat in less than 11 minutes, and provided an explanation for how they did it. Not how they did it, we need no refresher on that side of things, but how they breezed through the opening scenes and into someone's bed so quickly. In the character creator, the first choice is to select the Street Kid lifepath, because its opening scenes are shorter than the Corpo or Nomad lifepaths by about seven to ten seconds. Then, add all of the available points into Body for stamina, Reflexes for speedier movement, and Tomatoanus left the last point in Cool just because.
Expectedly, playing the game involves a lot of skipping speech between characters, which is fine, because who cares about these people? This man is on a mission. Additionally, they're using lowest settings for the graphics to reduce the strain on the hardware and reduce the chance for game-breaking bugs. Cyberpunk 2077 did not launch in the most stable of states, and if you'd like an explainer on that, we spoke to a group of experts for their opinion.
Tomatoanus rushes through the first few missions as a Street Kid, and eventually gets their hands on a weapon. A glitch allows them to melee up the side of a building (a bit like Mulan in that part where she scales the pole) and then safely drop down with a fall damage cancel glitch. V's got to be on top form, remember? This takes the character outside of the mission boundaries' restrictions, and they encounter a JoyToy, the nickname for sex workers in Night City. At the ten minute, 27 second mark, the saucy cutscene triggers, and so the speedrun is complete.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a racy game, to be sure, and before the game launched, there was a VR porn parody starring the "Voodoo Sisters," a twist on the gang of a similar name in Night City. The setting itself is obsessed with sex, with suggestive posters and advertisements littering the alleys and streets, where "something by today's standards might be taboo or kinky is very normal and commonplace by 2077 standards." V is even able to use dildos as melee weapons to subdue their enemies with, though the sheer explosion of the sex toys across the city will be toned down in an update.
