'Daredevil's' Kingpin May Return In 'Hawkeye' Disney Plus Series

I really miss that blissful moment in time when the Marvel Netflix series were some of the best TV shows you could find. The first season of Jessica Jones is still *chefs kiss* and the fight scenes in Daredevil aren't to be missed. Daredevil in particular, though, captured the hearts of many with incredible casting with actors who really felt like the comic book characters many know and love.

We of course have Charlie Cox who played the Daredevil / Matt Murdock - a role many fans want to see him in again. Oh and remember Jon Bernthal as The Punisher? Yeah, that's the good stuff. And we also say Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin which was sublime. Now fans think that he might be hinting at a return to the character as part of the official MCU with poetry and some likes on Twitter.

Here is the trailer for Hawkeye...

As CBR reports, fans think D'Onofrio could be returning in the Hawkeye series we've just got a trailer for. The actor tweeted out a poem he had written about a three-legged dog, and fans of Hawkeye may know that the archer has a three-legged dog called Lucky. The timing of the Kingpin actor dropping a poem dedicated to such a specific animal after the Hawkeye reveal seems suspicious right?

Additionally, following this poem and the trailer reveal, the actor began liking the tweets of fans expressing that they'd love for him to return as Kingpin. Fans are really running with this theory that he's not explicitly breaking an NDA by doing any of these things but it's a wink to the audience that he'll be back as the scary Wilson Fisk soon.

Hawkeye will be coming to Disney+ from November 24 and new episodes will release on Wednesdays weekly.
