An immersive Arkham Asylum experience is on its way to the Big Smoke and it is pulling out all of the stops with opportunities to rub elbows and with the heroic and villainous inhabitants of Gotham City.
Arkham Asylum has been born of a collaboration between Department Studios, Myriad Entertainment, Warner Brothers Themed Entertainment and DC Comics, and it isn't sanitising the terrible legacy of the fictional criminal psychiatric prison. Myriad Entertainment boasts members who have been credited on "critically lauded West-End productions, award-winning television, and some of the most ambitious narrative immersive shows in the last decade."
As a result, this is not for the faint of heart. In fact, the ticket site specifically states that you must be 18 years of age or above to participate in Arkham Asylum. The trailer shows off what fans will face, with callous staff and restraints for patients who are wheeled from room to room and test to test on rickety gurneys.

Tickets go on sale in two weeks time, though you are able to sign up to be the first in the queue and receive marketing materials about Arkham Asylum ahead of its arrival. While it's not known what exactly participants will get out of their experience, Department Studios is proud to be using its "interactive theatrics and cutting-edge tech to create once in a lifetime, multiplatform, alternate reality experiences that put fans as the protagonist of their own journey."
Recently, HBO has called Zack Snyder's Justice League a "global phenomenon" that brought together the fans of DC Comics unlike anything in its past. That's caused a lot of people to clamour for the "Snyderverse" to be revived, and with the success that the film saw, it's certainly in Warner Bros' interest to consider the possibility.
