A conversation between two industry insiders on Twitter has hinted that we might be seeing a Dead Space remaster in the near future. Spotted by GameRant, Jez Corden from Windows Central and Nick Baker from XboxEra had a very friendly conversation on Twitter about the possibility of a Dead Space remaster and it's all rather... mysterious. Jez then responds, "That WOULD BE PRETTY COOL WOULDN'T IT NICK? You know. If it was ACTUALLY HAPPENING MAYBE? That would be PRETTY COOL." Which, as you can see, is both very enthusiastic and directly hints that we will be seeing the series revived.

So what are the chances that Dead Space, Dead Space 2, and Dead Space 3 (and those spin-offs, too) are going to get re-released in some capacity? Well, it sort of makes sense following the success of Mass Effect Legendary Edition. People have loved revisiting Shepard and their crew on the Normandy, and EA has already mentioned that it is happy with how the Mass Effect remaster performed, so it would be sensible for the publisher to be looking at other properties to remaster, too.

The original Dead Space games released back on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, so it's high time that they got some love and attention. With Jez and Nick's hints, it might just be a matter of time before EA announces that a remaster is on its way.
