It looks like Guy "Dr Disrespect" Beahm is getting ready to make the jump from streaming games to building them. The divisive YouTuber and former Twitch sensation has announced his intention to launch a brand-new development studio.

According to a job listing on his Champion's Club website (thanks, PC Gamer), Beahm's as-yet unnamed studio will make games in collaboration with "mega influencers" - a phrase that makes me want to pull out my own teeth and shatter my eardrums with them.

The only position listed at present is for a studio head, but a description of the role offers a glimpse into how Beahm sees this new venture playing out.

"The studio plans to forge a partnership with a select list of mega influencers and then work closely with them to launch their dream gaming title," the listing states. "Those gaming titles will either be incubated and developed OR partner/co develop with existing indie game developers and launched as mega titles."

To be fair, Beahm did used to work at Call Of Duty publisher Activision as a level designer before he donned a wig and became a Twitch star, so he might actually know what he's doing? Even so, I can't think of anything worse than seeing the dreams of certain influencers made reality, to be perfectly honest, but there's not much we can do to stop it at this point.

We'll just have to look on as Beahm's studio either burns out in a blaze of short-lived glory or becomes the start of a horrifying new trend. Hope for the best but plan for the worst, etc.

On the off-chance Beam is reading this, here are a few potential projects to get you started: Jake Paul's Punch Out. Ninja's Gaiden. Pokimane Red & Blue. They sell themselves, don't they?
