'Dragon Age 4' Release Window Confirmed By EA Insider

Jeff Grubb, a well-known games journalist and insider, has hinted that we'll be hearing a lot more about Dragon Age 4 in the not too distant future. Though we haven't heard too much about the game since its reveal at the 2018 Game Awards apparently the wait for trailers, news, and even a release date isn't too far away.

Grubb says in a piece for GameBeat that we should expect to see and hear more about Dragon Age 4 in 2022 and a full release for the fantasy role-playing adventure game is likely to happen sometime in 2023. These details apparently come from someone close to the project so it's likely that this really is the time frame that the developers are aiming for at least.

Here is the teaser we got back in 2018 for Dragon Age 4...

We're talking about Dragon Age 4 again now because of the July 22 EA Play which revealed some of the things that EA has been up to. Fans of Dragon Age had their fingers crossed that they might see something from BioWare but yet again they were disappointed.

However, EA did reveal some cool stuff at the presentation last night. We saw some more of the new Apex Legends character Seer, the Battlefield Portal mode of Battlefield 2042, and season two of Knockout City. Perhaps the biggest announcement at EA Play was for Dead Space, a remake and reimagining of the terrifying horror that awaits us in space.

We'll have to keep our ears and eyes peeled for any new Dragon Age 4 news, however, but it's somewhat a relief we might not be waiting another few years for anything solid. At this point, we don't even know its full name so that detail at a minimum next year would be nice EA - come on I think we've been waiting long enough.
