Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is doing everything in his power to hype up the eventual release of Black Adam. The actor worked hard on the script for the new film starring the DC anti-hero (well, arguably villain), and won't stop posting about it on his Instagram so fans can see bits and pieces of what's going on. This time, The Rock has graced us with a first look at Black Adam's suit.

The super-suit is an important part of any comic character's identity. It says a lot about their personality, their state of mind, the era that they're in, and more. I know plenty of people who can look at a Spider-Man suit and correctly identify which actor wore it: Holland, Maguire, or Garfield. So it's exciting to see even a little bit of the final Black Adam product.

Here is the previously revealed teaser for Black Adam...

Johnson posted a picture on Instagram showing his shoulders and a set with some obvious destruction present. He's likely stood in front of his throne, looking down on a destroyed room at this moment, but it's hard to say that for sure. You can see how ridiculously ripped the actor is from the back, with a skin-tight suit that clings to every muscle.

The Instagram post also had quite the caption to go with it. The Rock says: "BLACK ADAM. This image of Black Adam from behind gives you a tactile sense of the absolute[ly] massive scale and size of our movie. You also see a little of the intricate and beautiful textured detail of Black Adam's bodysuit. (this is not your typical DC or Marvel padded muscle suit).

"And finally you get a glimpse of the enormous and appropriate destruction. As we all know, superheroes have a code of justice and don't kill the bad guys. But, Black Adam does. The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is changing. Antihero. Man in black. Protector of his people."

Black Adam is still being filmed but DC and Warner Bros have already said that the release date should be July 29, 2022, which is just over a year away. We look forward to seeing the culmination of the Black Adam team's efforts and can't wait to see The Rock be the bad guy at the helm.
