FromSoftware fans are a funny lot. They can spend an hour making their way to the bottom of an increasingly complex and dangerous dungeon filled with traps, only to die at the very end after a random bit of floor crumbles away with literally no warning... and then applaud the game's brave design before happily starting over from the beginning.

I guess we're just a bunch masochists at heart, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Even so, actively calling on FromSoftware to make one of Elden Ring's most frustrating bosses harder again seems a bit much, right?

If you're still struggling with Elden Ring, take a look at one of the game's most OP weapons below!

And yet, that's exactly what a small subset of Elden Ring players seem to be doing. As part of the game's recent - and massive - update, FromSoftware made a number of tweaks to certain weapons and enemies. One of the more noticable changes? The infuriating Starscourge Radahn boss battle has been made marginally easier.

Before the patch, Radahn was generally considered to be one of the most difficult bosses thanks to a combination of devastating long range attacks, a meaty health bar, and the ability to turn into a terrifying meteor that could instantly wipe players out if they didn't immediately high-tail it to a safe distance.

Post-patch, Radahn deals less damage and is actually less likely to hit players, according to dataminers. This hasn't gone down at all well with players who already beat Radahn and think others should have the same experience. Kind of like boomers who think their kids should have to live in a world full of misery and rising costs because it wasn't any better for them when they were younger.

Over on Reddit, there are nearly 24,000 players calling on FromSoftware to buff Radahn again. Why? I think mostly because people want to brag that they beat him pre-patch.

"So glad I fought and beat him before the nerf," one user wrote. "One of the most satisfying and fun fights in all the souls games."

"I just fought him in NG+ post patch and was severely disappointed," another added. "Literally finished him before his second phase."
