Ahead of the release of the new Injustice animated movie on October 19, we're pleased to be able to show you an exclusive clip. So scroll a little, click play, and enjoy.
In the event that you want more details, before watching: Injustice is based on the video game series of the same name, and the graphic novel based on that. This is an alternative world of famous DC characters, on Earth-22, where Superman has been tricked into killing Lois Lane and destroying Metropolis by The Joker, and decides there's only one way to prevent humanity tearing itself apart: take control of the Earth. And so he goes to the United Nations to outline his next moves.
Watch Superman lay out his new vision for the world in the clip below...
As you can see in the clip above, Superman's plans don't exactly go down smoothly with the likes of Batman and Cyborg. Yep, there's gonna be some conflict - as players of the Injustice games, particularly 2013's Injustice: Gods Among Us, which serves as the key inspiration for this animated movie, know all too well. There will be blood - and a good amount of universe-bending, timeline-twisting antics, too. Stay tuned for a terrific twist.
Advert
Directed by Matt Peters, Injustice is released on DVD, Blu-Ray, in a 4K Ultra HDTM Blu-ray bundle and digitally on October 19. It stars Justin Hartley as Superman and Anson Mount as Batman, with other roles played by Brandon Micheal Hall, Gillian Jacobs, Laura Bailey and Yuri Lowenthal. It's definitely not for kids, so keep those younger peepers pointed at The LEGO Batman Movie, yeah?
And if you really wanna see for yourself how Not For Kids this is, check out the Injustice red-band trailer below (which may contain spoilers, FYI).
