It's a truth universally acknowledged that the yellow team in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is the absolute worst. The popular battle royale has only been out for a handful of weeks, but players seem to have really locked on to the idea that if you end up yellow during one of the divisive team rounds, you're screwed.
I'm not entirely sure how this meme started... but it's kind of ended up being true. The last nine or ten team games I've played as yellow team have ended with a loss. No word of a lie. I suspect this might be something of a self-fulfilling prophecy, you know? The more people bang on about yellow team sucking, the more people who get put on that team for a round decide there's no point in trying - which leads to more losses.
As you can see, it doesn't look like this yellow bashing is going to go away anytime soon.
Perhaps in an effort to end the hatred, the official Fall Guys Twitter account has promised something very bold indeed. If the below tweet can get one million retweets, developer Mediatonic will straight-up remove yellow team from the game.
At the time of writing, the tweet only has 160k retweets, so we're a long way off yellow team going anywhere. I'd be amazed if it does actually happen, but Fall Guys Twitter has assured its followers that even though it was joking originally, it will honour its promise and oust yellow team if the one million target is hit.

Savage? Undoubtedly... but arguably necessary to end this cycle of failure for the poor yellow team, who could have a shot at coming back stronger than ever if they were allowed to sit out for a bit. Of course nature abhors a vacuum, so it wouldn't be long until another team stepped in to fill the role yellow once played. My money would be on green.
