Not all jellybeans wear capes.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a fantastic new battle royale that you've probably already heard of. Bright, colourful, accessible and so much fun, I really can't find much wrong with it... apart from the fact that it has a habit of bringing the absolute worst out in people.

In the same way that Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Crash Bash can turn even the purest of souls into self-obsessed monsters who'll slit your throat to get ahead, Fall Guys makes demons of us all. I'm certainly not proud of some of the things I've said and done while attempting to claim the crown, that's for sure.

Maybe that's why I was so genuinely surprised to hear the story of a player who went above and beyond to help out a fellow jellybean. As you can see below, Twitter user and future saint CaptainRadLad made the effort to guide an AFK (inactive) player through a round of Perfect Match, a logic-based game in which players need to pay attention and stand on the correct platform to survive.

I'm absolutely certain that if I were in this position, I'd push them to their death. But CaptainRadLad is a better man than me. He's also a captain - and a rad lad - if we can believe the name, so that's no surprise I guess. Using the grab mechanic, the noble captain dragged and pushed the AFK player across the arena to make sure they were on the correct square every time.

I suppose the saddest part of all of this is that the player CaptainRadLad saved will probably never know the lengths another went to to get them through the round safely. I imagine they came back from whatever they were doing, saw they made it to the next round, and straight-up assumed it was luck. It is pretty hard to fail at Perfect Match to be fair... which is probably a big part of why CaptainRadLad chose to help out. It was something to do in Fall Guys' most boring round.

Still, that shouldn't detract from the fact that a beautiful act of kindness took place in Fall Guys that day. Probably one of the last ones we'll ever seen in the game.
