It's no secret that the Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout theme tune is an absolute bop. But there's only one sure-fire way to make a bop more of a bop than before - make it an a cappella version.

Now I'll grant you, this can be hit-and-miss, but when it hits, it really hits. Streamer and musician Elspeth Eastman is the talent behind this disarmingly charming version of Fall Guys' already adorable theme tune. Check it out below, and be ready for a new ear-worm.

The video shows at least four takes all performed by Eastman, but a later tweet confirmed that there are a lot more than just the few we see happening on screen. Eslpeth also said in the replies to the tweet that it took her the better part of an entire day to record, starting at 11am and wrapping up around midnight. Quite how she managed to unpack all of those layers and single them out for a recording is well beyond my skills.

The original Fall Guys theme was composed by Jukio Kallio and Daniel Hagström whose previous work fans might recognise on titles like Minit and Celeste. While developers Devolver Digital and Mediatonic have plenty of new content planned for the game, I'd love to hear more songs like the theme popping up during gameplay in the future.

In related Fall Guys news, Devolver Digital announced that the game has received over 7 million downloads on PC via Steam, which is utter madness. As if that weren't enough, it's been confirmed by Sony to be the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game ever. Wow.

If for some reason you still haven't gotten around to downloading the game on PS Plus, you've only got a few days left (until August 31st, to be precise) until September's batch of games hits. For those interested, they'll be PlayUnknown's Battlegrounds, and Street Fighter 5.
