As the news has hit us that the stonks guy is coming to Fortnite I, like many others, assumed it was an April Fools joke. The battle royale from Epic has had numerous pop culture figures added to the game over the years; Ripley from Alien to Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, and yet the stonks meme felt too far. I can report to you that yes indeed, the stonks guy from the stonks meme about stonks is now stocked in the Fortnite store.
What else is there to say? Here at GAMINGbible we use this meme more than you think - we love this guy wholly and you might have spotted him pop up in our article thumbnails from time to time when talking about stocks. But never did we think that he'd be staring us in the face from inside Fortnite. Though, if we're talking about him in Fortnite we should probably use his proper name in the game, *ahem* Diamond Hanz. Diamond Hanz?! Yeah, okay we'll just keep calling him Stonks Guy thanks very much Epic.
The listing on the Fortnite store has a little "To the moon" tag in recognition of the GameStop stocks situation that took off earlier this year. The outfit consists of, *sigh* Diamond Hanz, and of a little back bling item called Gains. It's of course the orange arrow that appears behind the meme to signify his success in whatever market he's investing in. I mean look how proud he is, he's probably bet his last buck on whatever it is.
The :bell: has been rung and Diamond Hanz is ready to answer the call.

As I said, it's not like Fortnite is shy about collaborations. It's now pretty difficult to name a massive franchise or series that doesn't feature within the game in some way, shape or form. And Epic Games is only looking to expand on that success with a possible Shrek collaboration, and others think The Rock is about to be revealed in the game too. Thanks for the tip The Loadout.
