Twitch streamer Aydan Conrad shared a much-needed dose of pure positivity with his followers recently. During what's sure to go down as a truly unforgettable live broadcast for the young player, the Fortnite pro opted to surprise his mum with an incredibly touching and thoughtful gesture, paying off her remaining student loans.

Conrad, a member of Ghost Gaming team, revealed the "late Christmas present" to his mum in a properly heartfelt moment. Calling her up during the stream, he dropped the incredible news that he'd used the profits from his hugely successful gaming career to help her out with her loans. Cue tears from Conrad, his mum, and presumably most of the viewers watching the stream.

Check out the amazing moment for yourself below.

"I don't need anything, Aydan - you've done enough for me," Conrad's mum said (as all mums would), before he shared the big news. The streamer then let her know that it was "too late," and that all her school loans had already been paid for.

Understandably, Conrad's mum's first reaction was one of disbelief. "No they're not. You can't... you can't," she said. "It's not a federal loan. I don't think you can touch that."

As it turns out, Conrad was very much able to touch it. He mentioned that he'd spoken to someone called Lina - a person I'm assuming both Conrad and his mum know, and who was able to help make the payment a reality. At the mention of her name, Conrad's mum quite reasonably burst into tears.

"It's not me, it's all the people that are watching my stream right now, they made it possible," Conrad told his mum after a few moments. Paying off a parent's debts is one thing - but to then modestly refuse to take credit for such a selfless act? I've gotta say, Aydan Conrad is a seriously class act, and an amazing example to his fans.

The Loadout notes that Conrad's Fortnite career has secured him around $160,000 in prize money to date. It's not clear how much the lad earns via streaming, but with 1.4 million followers, you have to assume it's a fairly hefty wedge.

I'm sure most of us, at one point or another, have dreamed about coming into a substantial amount of money and using that wealth to pay our parents or guardians back in some way. I don't see myself coming into any real money unless I win the lottery, sadly, so for me it remains a dream for now. Good on Conrad for living that dream and doing right by his mum.
