An American internet service provider is offering an irresistible proposition to gamers across the country: play games with your best bud for 21 hours and receive $2,000. That's not even the best part, as applicants have the chance to win a swag bag of goodies including a Nintendo Switch Lite.

FrontierBundles.com was awarded the "Best Internet Provider for Online Gaming of 2021" by the US News & World Report, and as a result, the company appears to be courting its audience with this enticing challenge. The purpose is to find out whether gamers play more effectively on their own or with the support of a friend, and interestingly enough, you don't have to be a FrontierBundles.com customer to be eligible for the prize. You could sign up with your childhood friend who always had your back in Left 4 Dead, or a buddy you've never met but is your lucky charm in Warzone matches, as the two gamers don't have to be in the same location while playing for 21 hours. The question of whether solo or co-op players work well together is dependent on the game, I suppose. In Overcooked, that sitch is more pressured than souffle week on The Great British Bake Off. Yes, it is a multiplayer game. No, I do not want to play it with multiple people. Those three stars are not a joke.

Some of the most unbelievable moments have come from playing online with pals. Check out this compilation of Grand Theft Auto V wins and fails below.

The company has also been inspired by the numerous anniversaries that are occurring this year, like The Legend of Zelda's 35th anniversary, Sonic The Hedgehog's 30th anniversary and Pokémon's 25th anniversary. In fact, the latter is going all out on its partying, enlisting Katy Perry and Post Malone to produce songs for an official silver anniversary album. The sweepstakes is only open to those who live in the United States and are above the age of 18, and applications will be available til June 18th at 11:59pm PDT. There will be two sets of winners who will not only receive $2,000 for their valiant efforts, but a whole lot of extras for free.

The pairs will get a Nintendo Switch Lite, copies of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a Nintendo Switch Online membership and snacks for fuel throughout this session. Now, it's important to remember that they'll need to record their experience for FrontierBundles.com to investigate, so no lollygagging. And, may the odds be ever in your favour.
