'GTA 5' Player Beats Game Without Taking Any Damage, Leaving Community Stunned

I mean... wow.

Grand Theft Auto V is a pretty dangerous game, I think it's fair to say. Michael, Trevor, and Franklin frequently find themselves in positions where they're being shot at by all manner of foe. Hell, even when they aren't sheltering from a hail of bullets, there's every chance they could get ran over, beat up, stabbed, or slapped around in some other, unforeseen way.

That's why it's so incredibly impressive to me - and the entire GTA V community - that a brave player has finally managed to wrestle the game's unpredictable world to the ground and tame it. UnNameD just posted a full run on YouTube - the very first playthrough since GTA V released eight years ago in which no damage is taken from start to end.

Take a look at this impressive run in action for yourself below!

A number of players in the GTA V community have been aiming for a no-damage run for the better part of a decade, but UnNameD is the very first to show actual proof of completion. The reason it took this long for somebody to nail it should be pretty obvious: GTA V is an incredibly chaotic game. It would only take one bullet during one of the game's many, many shootouts to end any potential attempts.

Even taking a knock in a car during a high-speed chase scene can result in damage and a ruined run. This clearly took patience and dedication, and I shudder to think how many attempts it actually took UnNameD before the final, successful nine-hour run could be uploaded.

"Eyy good job man," wrote one user. "Never thought it was really possible to do a no hit run in a game like this!"

"Awesome job dude, well earned record," added another. "Must have been insanely stressful."

No doubt there are players out there who'll want to come for UnNameD's new record... but given how long it took for somebody to get to this point in the first place, I don't think they have anything to worry about for a long while yet.
