A get-rich-quick scheme that actually works sounds like pure fiction, but that's exactly what Rockstar Games is offering GTA Online players this week - but you'll have to act fast. For the next 24 hours or so, it's possible to net yourself a cool $2 million in the online multiplayer crime sim. To be very clear, that's in-game cash. Rockstar isn't about to shower you in real world dollar bills. Sorry mate.
Whether you play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC, getting your hands on the virtual dosh is a pretty simple process. There's really nothing standing between you and $2 million, so read on below to discover what you need to do. Before long, you'll be splashing your fake cash on virtual cars, virtual penthouses, and virtual gambling. Your virtual friends will love you. Probably.

As you might have seen last week, Rockstar elected give away $1 million to every single person who logged into GTA Online between January 30th and today, February 5th. The good times don't end there though, oh no. From February 6th until the 13th, you'll be able to bag another $1 million in exactly the same way. Literally just log in, play, and profit. Again, not IRL.
It goes without saying, but if you want the full $2 million, today is your last chance to do so. If you haven't already logged in to claim that first $1 million, do so before the end of today. If you miss it, you can still get at least $1 million by logging in from tomorrow, but you'll have to live with the knowledge that you could have easily had twice as much and you blew it, you big IDIOT. You disgust me.
The digital dollar bills are supposed to land in your Maze Account within 72 hours, though a few players have reported not receiving any money yet. Rockstar has yet to comment on this, but I'd imagine it's down to the sheer volume of players logging in to claim the cash prize.
In other massive Rockstar news, company co-founder Dan Houser is leaving the iconic studio after over two decades. Houser co-founded the studio way back in 1998 with his brother Sam, and worked as a creative lead on a number of acclaimed Rockstar projects, including GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2.
