Half A Million Cheaters Have Been Banned In 'Call Of Duty: Warzone'

As one of the biggest free-to-play games in the world, it's no surprise that Call of Duty: Warzone has a cheating problem. Cheaters will probably never go away entirely, but it's up to the developers who maintain the game to act quickly to eliminate as many tricksters as they can and for Raven Software, that means a lot of work.
Every so often, the company bans a large wave of accounts to counteract the widespread cheating issues players have had to endure. Raven Software's Warzone ban waves kick out "malicious" accounts when they find them, and with the latest wave the team reached a grim or impressive milestone, depending on your perspective.
Games would be a lot more fun on average if we never encountered cheaters. Take, for example, these excellent Warzone wins and fails, which didn't need an aimbot to be entertaining...

Over 500,000 Warzone accounts have been banned from the game. That's a lot of cheaters. Raven Software posted the announcement on Twitter as is usual when they publicise successful ban waves, presumably to reassure players that the development team is taking action on the game's issues.
This latest tweet says: "Banned over 30,000 malicious accounts across Call of Duty yesterday... bringing us to over half a million account banned in Warzone". Note that this doesn't mean half a million players have been banned, as many cheaters will obviously make more and more accounts when cheats are discovered.

It's an impressive number to reach in both a good and bad way. It not only shows players that Raven Software is stomping out accounts when they can, but it also shows just how many people are finding a way to exploit the game, from aimbots to wallhacks and more. Well, in any case, it's nice to see that Raven Software is actioning accounts when needed. And to anyone who cheats that's reading this: get a life, dude.
