With Daniel Craig set to leave James Bond behind once and for all in No Time To Die, talk has once again turned to just who could take over as the iconic superspy.

Unsurprisingly, The Witcher star Henry Cavill has topped many a fan list when it comes to the next Bond - and the man himself is more than open to finally appearing in the classic franchise. He's certainly got the jawline for it. And the face. And the everything, to be honest. Love u Henry.

Anyway, take a look at the No Time To Die trailer below if you haven't already. Although I'm sure you probably have.

Craig's run as Bond kicked off back in 2006 with Casino Royale. No Time To Die will be the actor's fifth and final outing as the character, and most would agree he's been a perfect fit for the role. It'll certainly be hard to imagine anyone else in the part after all this time, but such is the nature of the James Bond franchise.

Of course Craig was just one of the actors in the running for the coveted role back in 2006. You may know that Henry Cavill was actually one of the finalists for the role back in the day, but was ultimately passed over because director Martin Campbell considered the actor too young for the part. Funnily enough, Cavill also missed out on playing Superman in Superman Returns for similar reasons before getting to make his debut as the character in Man Of Steel.

So now that Cavill has some more years and wisdom under his belt, would he want to come back and have a crack at Bond? He certainly seems keen on appearing in the franchise after all this time and is happy to chat to franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. about a role - but probably as a villain rather than Bond himself.

You can see what he had to say during a chat with The Movie Dweeb below:
