From developer Milestone comes Hot Wheels Unleashed, a new game offering arcade-style races for the teeny tiny speedsters, and you'll even be able to create your own tracks and share them with the community.
"Like many other team members who worked on the game, I've been playing with Hot Wheels since I was a child, and today I'm still a hungry Hot Wheels fan and collector," said executive producer Michele Caletti. "This is the reason why we're all so committed in delivering the purest and most authentic Hot Wheels gameplay experience ever in a video game. We owe it to the Hot Wheels community and to our inner children." Over the course of twenty years, the studio cut its teeth honing their craft in creating classic racing series, from Ride, MXGP, MotoGP and more, so you know Hot Wheels Unleashed is in good hands. What's more is that the game enlivens the nostalgia of the toys with exciting elements like customisation and competition, tapping into that Hot Wheels rush in an entirely new way.

It's sounding like the ultimate Hot Wheels experience to me.
As well as a range of single-player modes, the multiplayer offers online competition and offline split-screen chases, and you'll even be able to construct your own tracks and race on other creations. With the game coming to all possible platforms, it's not known whether cross-play and cross-gen is available for players but the studio assures that further information will be supplied in due course.
"Build your amazing and unique tracks in any game environment, mixing special track pieces and items specific to each location, for endless racing fun," said Milestone. Those who pre-order the game will unlock the Beefed Up Pack, which gets you an HW Armored Truck and the Baja Bone Shaker. Hot Wheels Unleashed comes to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 30th.
