Harrison Ford has been injured on the set of the upcoming Indiana Jones 5. Shooting finally began on the hugely antipcated sequel in the UK earlier this month, but it now looks like Ford will have to sit out on the action for a little while.
Deadline reports that the severity of Ford's injury is currently unknown, but that the 78-year-old actor did something to his shoulder while rehearsing for a fight scene

"In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder," Walt Disney Pictures said in a statement. "Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks."
Fans will remember this isn't actually the first time Ford has suffered an injury while filming a long-awaited sequel. When he returned to the role of Han Solo for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, in 2014 he broke his leg as a result of the doors of the Millennium Falcon shutting unexpectedly. Then in 2016, he hurt his hand after accidentally punching co-star Ryan Gosling in the face during Blade Runner 2049.
We'd hoped he'd have a little more luck in finally returning to the role of Dr Jones after all these years, especially since it's no secret how much Ford loves playing the character. Ford previously admitted this is probably going to be his last time playing the whip-cracking hero, and is determined to go out on a high and give the fans something they weren't expecting.
"I don't really want to give them what they want to see," Ford told Hey U Guys. "I want to give them something they didn't anticipate seeing. I think they're used to a degree of disappointment when you revisit -- I mean certainly the Marvel movies have made a spectacular example of success that worked the other way around. They killed it. Well, we're not going to make another Indiana Jones unless we're in a position to kill it. We want it to be the best. So we've got some scheduling issues, a few script things still to do, but we're determined to get it right before we get it made."

Hopefully Ford isn't out for too long and is able to get back into the thick of it soon.
