Justice League Fans Are Still Fighting To Restore The SnyderVerse

You might think that the so-called SnyderVerse is dead - but it seems its fans disagree. Many of them are trying to get the film series back off the ground after Zack Snyder's Justice League's successful release earlier this year. And though it's down to Hollywood executives to make the decision on if the series continues, two key members of the films have already signalled their support: Snyder himself, obviously, and Wayne T. Carr.

According to Comicbook, Carr was set to play Green Lantern in Zack Snyder's Justice League but had his part cut out of the final project. On Twitter, he posted his support for the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse movement, which fans got trending. Of course, after all the work he put in and the hope he had to be part of a huge superhero movie universe, it must be disappointing to hear you might never get to see yourself on screen. He almost certainly would have a part in the next film if the SnyderVerse ever saw another addition.

Actually, now that we mention it, some of DC's biggest heroes are coming together for an ensemble film, soon. Check out the teaser for Super-Pets and its star-studded cast...

Snyder has also given his support for continuing his five-film vision - but really, why wouldn't he? When talking to Pop Culture Weekly back in March, he mentioned that he hopes the SnyderVerse lives on. However, he added, "it's not really my [call], it's not up to me". We've already heard all about what he planned for the character arc of Batman and Superman in these unmade films, too.

The original Justice League was widely disliked by fans. Zack Snyder left the project early to deal with the tragic death of his daughter, so Joss Whedon stepped in to take his place and the resulting movie didn't live up to either fan or box office expectations, and the idea of creating a Marvel-like universe surrounding DC's heroes fell apart. The Snyder Cut revived people's interest in the project though, and whenever DC fans have had the opportunity, they have tried their best to convince Warner Bros, HBO, and DC that the films have to continue.
