Keanu Reeves Has Put His Own Motorcycles In ‘Cyberpunk 2077’

Keanu Reeves' motorcycles have played a pretty important part in Cyberpunk 2077, and one of his company's real-life motorcycles will be available in the game.

Over the past few months, CD Projekt Red's Night City Wire events have delved into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, to act as a replacement for E3 2020. So far, we've seen the cinematic trailer, the city, investigative mechanics, gangs, character classes, weapons, the soundtrack, system requirements, and much more. It's a wonder what else is left, but the latest deep dive, titled "Rides of the Dark Future", has explored the vehicles that will be at your disposal.

As you're travelling through Night City, you're more than welcome to take Shanks' pony, and this mode of transportation will likely trigger a lot of the world's Street Stories. However, sometimes, you'll be requiring a quick getaway, and this is where the game's automobiles step into the spotlight. There are five categories to choose from, depending on your needs: economy, executive, sport, heavy duty, and hypercars.

For the most part, these are what they say on the tin. Economy cars are what some would term the "rust buckets" of the vehicular kingdom, whereas the executive cars are sleek and luxurious, with advanced technology under the hood. Heavy duty vehicles are trucks and tanks, and are unstoppable on the roads, so if your enemies are smart, they'll give you a wide berth. On the other hand, the sports cars flaunt their speed and customisable colours like shiny beetles.

Last but not least, the hypercars are a grease monkey's dream. They're beautiful machines, with top of the line parts that deliver an unbeatable and ultra-expensive drive. Not only this, but Night City will also feature various real-world cars and motorcycles, which is where Keanu Reeves' motorcycle company has come in handy.

In a behind-the-scenes clip, CD Projekt Red revealed that it worked closely with Arch Motorcycle, the company co-founded by the actor. The models have been used for sound recording purposes for the game, and you'll also be able to give one of its motorcycles a spin in Cyberpunk 2077. The Method 143 has been spruced up for the dystopian streets of Night City, and the two founders are excited to see it in action.

"It has sort of a racing engine in it compared to our production motorcycles," says Gard Hollinger in the video. "It has a dual exhaust system. And it sounds pretty-"

"Rrrrrrrrr," Reeves concludes. "It sounds good." Cyberpunk 2077 launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 19th, 2020.
