Little Lad Draws Awesome Boba Fett Picture, Wants To "Share It With The Internet"

“We thank you all truly for giving him even more inspiration than we try to do already!”

This little lad drew a brilliant drawing of Boba Fett for his dad, who is a fellow Star Wars mega fan. He wanted to "share it with the internet," and you know what? The internet is as thrilled with his artwork as he is, if not more so. You love to see it.

Let us review the piece with a critic's eye. There's an excellent use of colour here, and he's got the earthy and disparate tones of the dust beneath Fett's feet bang on. The green of his armour is bright - a much more vibrant shade than it is in the movies. However, this works wonderfully and is in fact reminiscent of Fauvism in the piece's strong colours and stylised representation of an iconic bounty hunter. The symbolism of the sun is not lost on us either, fitting into the scene where he watches Din Djarin depart Tattooine after battling the greater krayt dragon.

It's an amazing drawing, and it's especially impressive given that the artist is only at the start of his creative journey. The reception to the post has been so wholesome, and people from all over the world have been encouraging him to continue honing his talent. "Never seen Boba look so chill lol. Great pic you should be proud dad," said Gatorinthedark. "Get this young man a boatload of sketchbooks and allow him to draw every single day....whatever he wants and however he wants," stated embraceyourpoverty. "Pencil, ball point pen, crayon, prisma colors, charcoal. And post, post post." Redditors were also pleased to see that the father and son bond over Star Wars as a shared interest, and it turns out that this is only the tip of the iceberg for the duo.

"Oh, yeah! He definitely shares all of my fandoms," added hotcoolrasta. Star Wars is my first love, then Marvel, Xbox, DC, mythology, and just about anything else fantasy and sci-fi. My kiddo can do adult trivia on all of those topics with ease! My wife gave up trying to keep up! My wife also fans the flames of our fandomness by buying us tons of Star Wars things each birthday/Christmas; so that's cool, even if she is not on our fandom level!" He's expressed his gratitude for the internet's positivity and "overwhelming support" for his son's artwork, and that this experience has only fuelled his passion for fan art even further. Adorable.

Announced in December 2020, Disney's The Book Of Boba Fett will continue the events set up in The Mandalorian. In the finale of Season 2, Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) return to Tatooine to resolve their unfinished business with Bib Fortuna. It ends with Fett claiming Jabba's throne for himself with Fennec standing imperiously beside him. Everything is under wraps at the moment, but there's no denying that the future is bright for Star Wars fans.
