There has never been a more perfect example of "do what makes you happy" than this story of a man who sticks action figures to his truck. Columbus resident Michael Angelo Jackson has, over time, collected over 1,100 toys and stuck them to his 2008 Nissan Armada, building the most bizarre and unique display of action heroes we've ever seen.

If we were going to stick any toy to the roof of our car it might be this brilliant RuneScape dragon, because who doesn't want a dragon on their car...

The Ledger Enquirer spoke to the local legend Jackson about his collection and how it's received in the community. Apparently everyone in the area knows the car and it has divided public opinion - some love it, others question why he would ever 'ruin' his vehicle like this. And to that, Jackson just says, "I'm gonna do what makes me happy." He's possibly the chillest guy in the world, as you can see in the video below.

On the other side of the negativity though is the amount of joy it brings people. Jackson says that he's gone into shops before, leaving the car in a public place and "somebody will leave a note that says, 'You made my day'. That just makes me feel good."

The first toy he put on the roof of his car was an action figure of DC icon Superman. "I was looking at the top of my truck," said the 61-year-old, "and I said, 'I'ma put something up here'." And that was that, the tradition had begun. Over time the collection grew and grew when he was bored and well... now it's a masterpiece.

The owner has received a lot of attention because of the vehicle, and one fan even offered to buy the truck for $60,000 - but Jackson isn't selling. Some other fans gift him figures to add to the car, and every new piece gets a coating of a Gorilla Glue and nail polish mixture before being placed so it can stand up to, y'know, being stuck to a motor vehicle.
