It certainly looks like Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is well into production. An Instagram post from one of the key actors of Marvel's Spider-Man and Miles Morales showed that he was geared up in motion-capture attire before the picture was hastily deleted. It seems very likely that is yet another sign that Insomniac is already hard at work creating a follow-up to its comic book-inspired success.
As Game Infinitus notes, Insomniac Games has only just released the wonderful Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart which we, and the majority of PlayStation 5 gamers, have loved. Before that, the team produced both Miles Morales and the base Marvel's Spider-Man, both of which blew fans away. The development studio has been on a roll and it's no surprise that it's probably hard at work on its next project already.
Here is the trailer for Spider-Man: Miles Morales featuring the fantastic work of Nadji Jeter...

The actor who plays Miles Morales, Nadji Jeter, was spotted on Instagram posting a picture of him getting into motion capture gear. The sneaky photo is aimed up at his face as someone on the team applies the dots necessary to pinpoint his reactions. Though the specific project isn't revealed in the photo itself, it does seem that it's likely that it relates to Marvel's Spider-Man 2. I mean what are the chances that he's been picked up by another game or movie that needs him in this outfit so soon right? We've already heard that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is happening so this feels like let another perfect piece in the game development's puzzle.

Although the photo was deleted from Jeter's Instagram shortly after it was posted, it was too late - enough screenshots had been taken to make their rounds on the internet. Thanks to one fan who took a quick screenshot, we have been able to see the photo ourselves.
Of course, there is a possibility that this is for another title or project entirely. By no means is this a confirmation that it's the return of Miles Morales but it feels at least likely because of the timing that this is preparation for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. It'll be a way off until we were about the game officially but you can bet we'll be here waiting when we get word.
