It looks as if Marvel fans have now gotten their first glimpse of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster decked out as the new God of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We've known for a while that the upcoming Thor: Love And Thunder would bring back Thor's former love interest, and that the movie would even see Foster pick up Mjolnir and take over the mantle of the mighty Avenger herself.

Now, member of the film's crew has offered an exciting look at what Portman's Thor will look like, and the result is badass. Over on Twitter, Thor: Love And Thunder News has shared a quick peek t T-shirts that were handed out to cast and crew during filming. One of them features a striking design that boasts the film's three leads stood shoulder to shoulder: Thor Odinson, Valkyrie, and Jane Foster in full Asgardian battle armour. Take a look below!

During a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show Portman shared her excitement to be stepping into the role of the Mighty Thor, who you should at no point refer to as "Lady Thor", by the way.

"I can't tell you that much. I'm really excited," Portman said. "I'm starting to train, to get muscles. If there can be all these female superheroes, the more of them they are, the better it is. I'm trying to think - it's based on the graphic novel of The Mighty Thor. She's going through cancer treatment and is a superhero on the side."

Jason Aaron, who wrote The Mighty Thor run that Portman is referring to, is also super enthusiastic about seeing his creation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While he doesn't know much, the few things he does know about the upcoming movie have him incredibly excited. He also expressed his faith in the vision of director Taika Waititi, as I'm sure we all have at some point.

Thor: Love And Thunder crashes into cinemas February 11, 2022.
