Twitch Streamer Fights Off Home Invasion In The Middle Of A Stream

Well that's not terribly neighbourly

Twitch streamers often have to be prepared to deal with unexpected events. Much like live TV, there's a real chance that something - or several somethings - could go very wrong while on camera.

Fortunately, the vast majority of Twitch streams pass without incident. A streamer plays their favourite game (or soaks in a hot tub) while fans watch and chat. It's all very chill. Everyone has a nice time. But sometimes? Sometimes things can take a properly disturbing turn for the worse.

Russian Twitch streamer girl__fighter, known as Victoria, was recently forced to fight off an intruder into her home in the middle of a stream. As reported by Dexerto, the pole dancer and Counter Strike: Global Offensive player was interrupted during a broadcast when a man appeared to break her window and enter the house.

In the stream, we can see Victoria and a friend asking the man to calm down and leave. While we never see the man, we do hear him shouting and getting more agitated before. Victoria's friend sprays the intruder with what sounds like mace (we can't quite see it), and he then knocks over her streaming set-up and ends the broadcast.

The clip has since been removed from Twitch, but you can see the entire incident for yourself below thanks to reddit. Please be aware that some viewers may find the footage distressing.

So what the heck happened? According to viewers who can actually speak Russian, the man was Victoria's neighbor and was threatening her. He says "I will hurt you," before her friend replies "no, I will hurt you, get out of here." That's when she maces him, the PC gets knocked over, and the stream ends.

The good news is that Victoria has been on Twitch since the incident, so it seems as if she and her friend got through it okay. She also hasn't mentioned the intruder at all since, so it's currently unclear if he was arrested for breaking in or if any charges have been filed against him.
