Netflix Gaming is actually starting to roll out in select territories and subscribers have two games available for free already.

The fact that the billion-dollar streaming company is dipping its toes into gaming isn't overly surprising as this model of content consumption is now cemented into the mainstream. Its initiative is to "[build] on our earlier efforts around interactivity" like Black Mirror Bandersnatch and its Stranger Things games and these two could be joined by many more titles in the future.

"We view gaming as another new content category for us, similar to our expansion into original films, animation and unscripted TV. Games will be included in members' Netflix subscription at no additional cost similar to films and series," read a letter to shareholders. Netflix is also hoarding video game adaptations like a dragon with its mountain of gold, with a recently released The Witcher movie, an Assassin's Creed series, and the anime Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners.

The second season of The Witcher is on its way to the small screen soon and us lot at GAMINGbible are very excited. While we wait, this compilation of bloopers from the sets will tide us over and teach that you should never work with animals named "Roach."

As per the report from Ars Technica, subscribers in Poland now have access to Netflix Gaming as the company trials how the addition will work and what its trajectory will be elsewhere. "Let's talk about Netflix games," reads a tweet from the Polish Netflix Twitter account (translated by Netflix Geeked). "Starting today, users in Poland can try out two Android mobile games: Stranger Things 1984 and Stranger Things 3. We are at an early stage and we still have a lot of work to do in the coming months, but this is our first step."

Interestingly, people who want to give the two Stranger Things games a go will be taken to their Google Play listings in order to download. It's a funny choice, seeing as Netflix is the king of streaming, and you'd think that it would keep users on its app to play the games. Still, this might be a provisional thing while the feature is in its early stages and there's no word at the moment on when it will arrive in other areas of the world.
