Infinity Ward has confirmed that Season 4 of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: Warzone will be going live at 7am tomorrow morning (June 11th) in the UK.

Last week, Activision made to the decision to push back the launch of the new season in light the Black Lives Matter protests that were held across America following the death of George Floyd. Both Activision and Infinity Ward agreed that it wasn't the right time to be focusing on video games. Infinity Ward also added a Black Lives Matter message to in-game loading screens, and assured fans we'd see Season 4 at a "later date".

That later date, as we now know, is less than a day away.

We don't exactly what Season 4 has in store for us, but Infinity Ward has already dropped a few clues. The last teaser trailer for the new season pretty much confirmed that fan-favourite Captain Price would be returning to the battle as a playable operator. Fans have also noticed that a promotional image of Season 4 teased the return of Scrapyard, a popular map that first appeared in Modern Warfare 2.

Beyond that, it also looks as if Infinity Ward will continue to ramp up the many mysteries in Warzone. Mysteries which many fans believe will ultimately lead to the reveal of Call Of Duty 2020 - and possibly even culminate in a complete overhaul of the battle royale map.

Other recent reports have even suggested that zombies could be making their long-awaited appearance in the battle royale mode. Whether or not this happens as part of Season 4 remains to be seen, but surely it's only a matter of time before the undead - a staple of the Call Of Duty franchise - show up to the party.

For now we'll have to wait and see what Season 4 brings. But watch this space for news on all the changes, modes, secrets that come with it. As well as just how much space the update will take up on your hard drive. I'd probably start moving some things around just to be on the safe side.
