New 'Fast And Furious 9' Trailer Shows John Cena As Dom's Evil Brother

There was a point in the life of the Fast and Furious franchise, where the movies started to be less and less about drag races and semi-believable situations, becoming the definition of over-the-top action films. And you know what, we wouldn't have it any other way. This new story trailer for Fast and Furious 9 (or F9) looks like the most ridiculous Fast and Furious film yet and we can't wait to see it.

After years of delays to the film, including the release of Hobbs and Shaw and of course the Covid-19 pandemic, we're finally going to be seeing the release of F9. We'll be seeing the return of many friendly faces like Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriquez, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris - but we're also getting to see some new details in the trailer that just dropped.

One of the best things about the action series is seeing big Hollywood names get in on playing macho characters. Of course, we've had Jason Statham, we've also had Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and now another big name from WWE. John Cena, the good guy of the WWE ring, is going bad for Fast and Furious 9 and he's actually Dom's little brother.

Yeah, Dominic 'Family is everything to me, it's all I talk about' Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) has an evil brother we've heard nothing about. Perfection. John Cena takes on the role of a long lost little brother, Jakob. Who the heck knows where he's been, but he's been hanging out with criminal mastermind Cipher, played by the one and only Charlize Theron. The cast looks incredible and the plot? Utterly bonkers.

Just in the trailer alone, we see flying cars, espionage, magnets that can do the impossible, flipping trucks, detonations, and more. It's hard to try and fit all of that into words, so I advise you just watch the thing yourself - it's epic.

Fast and Furious 9 will be in cinemas from July 8, 2021. Of course, in the current world situation we'd ask you to be careful about seeing it in close proximity to others but if you're safe and want some on-screen explosions, car chases, fistfights and more, of course, go sink your teeth into the film when it comes out.
