New 'Little Nightmares II' Footage Emerges In Creepy Trailer

New 'Little Nightmares II' Footage Emerges In Creepy Trailer

One of our most-anticipated new games of early 2021, Tarsier Studios' Little Nightmares II is now just days away from release. I mean, I guess every game, or movie or album or whatever, is also "just days away" from coming out, if you want to think about time in such measurements (I checked my age in days, the other night, and that was a big number). Sorry, what was I... Little Nightmares II is coming out on February 11th, and we're very excited for it.

And now we have a brand-new trailer revealing even more creepy-af footage of the game in action - and what's more, it's hosted by none other than Derren Brown. He asks us, "What are nightmares?" But before we get a chance to answer, off he goes, explaining away. We're not mad, though, because we do see more of the game in the process.

Check out the new Little Nightmares II trailer below.

There's something about the award-winning illusionist and mentalist that just works with a game like Little Nightmares II, don't you agree? And if this taste of the game's spooky and scary world has your appetite whetted, please direct your eyeballs to our recent preview, where even more essential information can be found. The Teacher is the purest nightmare fuel. Mono, we're not sure of your chances, here.

In completely related news, the physical versions of Little Nightmares II will not be ready for purchase in the UK, on February 11th. Sorry about that, folk who like boxes. The game's UK publishers, Bandai Namco UK, have tweeted:

"Due to unforeseen changes after Brexit, shipping for physical copies of Little Nightmares II will be delayed in the UK & Ireland by a few days. We sincerely apologize for this delay and assure you that we are doing everything in our power to ship your copies as soon as possible"

Little Nightmares II isn't the first video game to get held up on its way into the UK, as the same fate befell Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, just yesterday. It probably won't be the last, either. Anyone else feeling like this oven-ready Brexit deal was just a little... undercooked?

Once again, Little Nightmares II is set for (digital) release on February 11th, 2021, with physical versions reaching the UK and Ireland a little later. The game will come out for PlayStation 4 and PS5, Xbox One and Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch. Be sure to click back to these pages for our review, nearer the time of its release.
