GAMINGbible can non-exclusively announce Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, a new mascot fighting game featuring characters from Rugrats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, and many more.

As you can see from the trailer below, All-Star Brawl looks to be an utterly shameless ripoff of Super Smash Bros, with classic characters from various franchises going in on one another against a backdrop of stages that pay tribute to their respective cartoons. Even so, the 90's kid in me is kind of hyped to see my twin passions of Smash Bros and Nickelodeon cartoons combined.

"Brawl it out as your favorite Nickelodeon characters in bombastic platform battles," reads the game's official description. "With a power-packed cast of heroes from the Nickelodeon universe, face-off with all-stars from SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Loud House, Danny Phantom, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, and more to determine ultimate animation dominance.

"With unique move sets and attacks inspired by their personalities, each character has an individual style of play enabling endless action for Nickelodeon's legion of fans. Select your favorite and then let the intense brawls begin with online and local multiplayer action."

All-Star Brawl is set to launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in autumn 2021. It's being delivered as part of a collaboration between Ludosity and Fair Play Labs, and will be published by GameMill Entertainment.

While the developers promise there are many more characters yet to be announced, the trailer managed to pack a good number of fighters in. We saw SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Zim (from Invader Zim), Reptar (of Rugrats fame) and even Danny Phantom, to name a few. The real star of the show, however, was the always meme-worthy Nigel Thornberry, patriarch of The Wild Thornberrys. The internet is in love, and it's not hard to see why.

I can't wait for Nigel Thornberry to single-handedly destroy the Smash Bros pro scene next year.
