Box of delights.

If I had my way, we'd be talking about the GameCube all the damn time. Nintendo's early 00's console was - and still is - an absolutely delightful piece of hardware, combining joyous multiplayer action with some of the best single-player games out there.

Whether exploring Tallon IV in Metroid Prime, sailing the Great Sea in The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker, or spending the entire weekend on Super Smash Bros. Melee with friends, the GameCube had a little something to offer everyone. It might not be as warmly remembered as the PlayStation 2 or Xbox, but those who know, know.

That's exactly why it's such a treat to see today that Nintendo's little box of joy has been trending on Twitter, with fans sharing their love and memories of the underrated console, as well as their favourite games. I love to see it, I really do.

If you still have your old GameCube knocking around, why not show it some love this weekend? Go on. You almost definitely won't regret it.
