What do you get when you cross The Division with The Last Of Us? If you said The Day Before, congratulations! You can pick any prize from the top row.

The upcoming open-world zombie horror game by devs Fntastic was announced earlier this year to raucous applause, with the gameplay demos piquing the interest of those allured by things that go bump in the night.

Why not take a break, weary reader, and feast your eyes on said gameplay for The Day Before to really whet your appetite.

The Day Before was originally only confirmed to be coming to PC, but now Fntastic has said that it will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, too. But that's not all. We also have a release date for the PC version of the game, proffered as June 21st 2022. Does that mean the next-generation console versions will also be coming on that date? Your guess is as good as mine. At the moment, we only know that PC players will be able to grab the game then.

Buzz around the title led interested gamers to ask Fntastic about a console version of the game, who were keen to say that it was being considered, without fully committing to the possibility. I guess we know now that that consideration was a serious one.

Whether or not there will be any marked differences between the console and PC releases also remains to be seen. With the gap between the platforms shrinking with every generation, you'd hope that the experience will be pretty uniform across the board.

Fntastic are also working on another title at the moment called Propnight, which will get a release date announced at some point next month. Currently in beta, it's said to be a hybrid of the games Dead By Daylight and Prop Hunt. Sounds pretty great if you ask me, but we'll find out more in due course.
