You know what - we actually quite like video games. I know, I know, it might be a surprise, perhaps even a shock to some of you, but yes video games are great. And you know what's even better than just a video game? One that you buy at a discounted price. That's why I'm happy to report that the Steam Summer Sale 2021 has a start date.

According to GameSpot and Steam Database, the Summer Sale will be live from Thursday, June 24th 6pm BTS / 10am PT / 1pm ET. A confidential email had been sent out to Steam partners confirming the date and SteamDB got its hands on the information. During this time expect to see huge discounts on games of all shapes and sizes.

If we're lucky we might see new releases like Resident Evil Village on the cards. Here's our review...

The sale will end a little while later on Thursday, July 8th 6pm BTS / 10am PT / 1pm ET so make sure you get all the deals you were looking for before then. Though these dates aren't officially confirmed, they are still just a rumour, SteamDB has a history of providing reliable information on sales and Steam news.

When shopping, you can expect deals to appear on triple-A titles like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order or the newly released PC version of Days Gone but also some smaller projects that we love just as much, such as Disco Elysium: The Final Cut or Hades. There will be a huge variety of titles on offer, so if you want to take a closer look at what we recommend check out our reviews.
