Another one of the PlayStation Plus free games for September 2021 appears to have been leaked by a reliable industry insider, giving us an even better idea of the free games subscribers will be able to get their hands on next month.

The free games for August on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 were Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World Tour 2, and Hunter's Arena: Legends. While not an awful collection of titles, many fans considered it a big step down from previous months.

Take a look at our favourite PlayStation 4 games below!

Earlier this week, a report surfaced that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 - Remastered would be one of September's PS Plus games after a number of users reported being able to download the skating sim for free a little early. We should note this has yet to be officially confirmed, but fans agree that the remastered collection would make a fine addition to September's PS Plus offering.

Now, Xbox Insider Shpeshal_Nick has claimed that JETT: The Far Shore will be one of the free September games. It should be noted, that he's still awaiting confirmation from his source, but Shpeshal_Nick has accurately predicted PS Plus games in the past.

JETT: The Far Shore is an as-yet unreleased exploratory adventure sci-fi game that's coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In recent months Sony has made a point of dropping brand-new games as part of the PS Plus lineup, including Operation Tango and Oddworld: Soulstorm.

"Take the helm of a 'jett' and explore a vast unknown - skim low over waves, roar up pristine coastlines and carve through otherworldly woods," reads the games official description. "Adapt to an intricate, systemic open world and persevere through adversity alongside an intimate ensemble cast in this story of courage, wonder and regret."

Sounds like a pretty interesting experience to me! The only downside I can see is that the game doesn't have a confirmed release date yet. Unless Sony is planning to stealth drop it as a PS Plus freebie next week of course, which is entirely likely. Watch this space.
