Just combine them already

The latest additions to PlayStation Now have been confirmed and... well, they're significantly better than the free PlayStation Plus games for August.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can currently download Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World Tour 2, and Hunter's Arena: Legends. Compared to previous months so far this year, that's not exactly a stellar lineup.

While all three games undoubtedly have their own charm, many fans feel the August lineup is missing that one extra special game that elevates the selection to the next level. Many have taken to Reddit and Twitter to call out Sony for such a lackluster month, in fact.

As disappointing as many find the August PS Plus freebies, what stings even more is the fact that PlayStation Now just announced three new games that would've made for a truly excellent month PS Plus. Nier: Automata, Ghostrunner, and Undertale have all been added to the streaming service. Let me tell you, those are three straight-up bangers.

The critically acclaimed Nier: Automata is widely regarded as one of 2017's best games, and a game I would encourage everyone to check out at some point. Similarly, Undertale's unforgettable twist on the classic RPG formula has secured it a place as not just one of the best games of the decade, but of all time. Even Ghostrunner, which came out last year, is a severely underrated cyberpunk parkour adventure that's slick af.

It's an undeniably fantastic selection for the service, leaving fans to wonder if they should leave PS Plus to one side for a month so that they can enjoy what PS Now is offering.

"Not bad not bad at all," wrote on Reddit user. "PS plus this month and last took a hit for PSNow. Sony should seriously just combine the two as an option."

"Remember when people thought PS Now was worse than PS Plus? These are some wild times we're living in," joked another.

Personally? I think I'm diving into PS Now for a month. I could play Undertale forever.
