Well, okay then.

Popular streamer and Super Smash Bros. Melee pro Joseph Manuel Marquez, AKA Mang0, has slammed Twitch over their recent decision to ban him for three days over alleged "sexual content" during a stream.

Marquez took to Twitter to vent his frustration at the situation, a sentiment clearly shared by his many fans. "Banned for three days from Twitch for 'sexual content,'" he wrote in a tweet earlier today. "ROFLLLLLLLLLL. F***ing joke.

It's unclear exactly what led to this ban, but Marquez seems genuinely surprised that he did something that led to it happening in the first place. Most fans, however, seem to think that the ban can be traced back to a stream from a few days before in which he performed fake sex acts on Super Sonico anime figurine. You can see a clip of the moment in question right here.

Sure enough, Marquez told fellow streamer Ludwig during his stream that he thinks it comes down to the fact "he humped an anime figurine too many times". Now there's a quote I never quite thought I'd write.

Marquez believes his ban was unfair, and in a follow-up tweet pointed to the 'jacuzzi stream' Twitch trend and pole dance streams that recently took over the Just Chatting category, in an effort to claim double standards.

While the three-day ban itself is minimal enough as far as punishments go, Marquez claims the incident has cost him at least one sponsor. "Someone messaged my business email saying they no longer would like to work with me given the circumstances," he wrote in a third tweet. It's unclear if the ban will be overturned, but I wouldn't bet on it.
