'Red Dead' Players Are Proudly Showing Each Other Their Favourite Horses

That's a good boah.

Red Dead Redemption 2 revolves around the life of Arthur Morgan and the tales of his gang, but sometimes it means more to the players - sometimes it revolves around their hopes, their dreams, and maybe even their horses.

Yes, you read that right - Red Dead players have taken to telling each other which is their favourite horse in the game and it's adorable. In fact, there is an entire subreddit for the activity where players are sharing photos of their stallions with descriptions about why they love them.

This small, yet dedicated community on r/reddeadhorses loves to chat about the horses they're currently riding - right now the top post is from user Lemonhead8910. They say "This is my Nakota Feather! There is this scripted event in the epilogue where you see a wagon with two dead people on it and one injured horse. She looked too sweet to just leave her to die so she became my one and only through the whole epilogue!"

Another user named floodsandfamine comments on the post, complimenting the horse but also sharing that they also saved her but went on to sell her after their stable got too full. "Unfortunately I'm a horse-hoarder so I also had to sell her, but I looked at it as giving her a decent life."

It's so strangely nice and heartwarming to see these players sharing a story here and there about the horses they've come to appreciate in Red Dead Redemption 2. Now we mention it, it's obvious that the horses are such an important part of the game as they're your central travel companion - it makes sense for certain gamers to really take to the creatures as they go. And to those games, we say thanks for sharing your stories on the subreddit.
